Designing with international inspiration.

With her passport filled with stamps from India, Africa, Israel, Mexico and Europe, her foreign travels inspire her to draw from local and international sources. As a current student at Savannah College of Art and Design, Kristin Hughes is currently completing her BFA in Fibers. Her desire to create products that focus on a hand rendered quality drives her design process. Focusing on detail and an exploration of techniques and materials, she hopes to push the boundaries of her own designs. Colors, patterns, textures and material manipulations found in nature and other forms of design influence her aesthetic.
